Cambouich stands above the village of Ercé, on high mountain pastures at the edge of the forest, facing full south. Located at 1200 metres altitude, it offers absolute peace and quiet, accessible via a 3 km mountain track used only by a few local farmers. Once an abandoned cattle barn on slopes too steep for mechanisation, it has been carefully restored while keeping its traditional granite walls and slate roof. The interior has been designed in a warm rustic style to provide maximum comfort.
The panoramic view is truly exceptional, overlooking the Garbet valley below and the Mont Valier and high peaks of the Ariège Pyrenees above. In front of the house, a large garden shelter with a barbecue allows you to fully enjoy the scenery. Behind the house, a natural spring flows all year round into a stone basin—the perfect spot to cool off in summer. Located in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Natural Park, Cambouich is surrounded by untouched, wild nature. Here, the air is clear and fresh, and the water we drink comes directly from the mountain.
